Sonoma Clean Power & Labcon Co-Host Public EV Test Drive Event
Free Public Event Provides Opportunity to Test New Generations of EVs
(Santa Rosa, CA) As part of Sonoma Clean Power’s (SCP’s) commitment to reducing emissions from gas-powered vehicles, SCP and Petaluma-based Labcon are co-hosting a free public Electric Vehicle Test Drive Event:
Tuesday, December 13, 2016
10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
3700 Lakeville Highway Petaluma
Labcon is focused on sustainable solutions for laboratory disposables and has long been a proponent of earth friendly practices, making them an ideal host site for SCP’s test drive event.
The employees of Labcon and nearby residents will have the opportunity to test drive EVs made available by BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Kia, Nissan and others, as part of SCP’s continuing education on the benefits of driving EVs.
Participants will also be able to learn more about SCP’s innovative Drive EverGreen program, which provides significant discounts and incentives to SCP customers on the purchase or lease of specific EVs for a limited time. There are additional incentives available for home EV chargers, as well as additional incentives for income-qualified customers of SCP.
“Drive EverGreen is an SCP program which promotes a shift from driving on oil, to driving on clean, local energy,” said Geof Syphers, CEO of Sonoma Clean Power.
The test drive event will include food, beverages, the opportunity to win prizes and more!
Test drives are free to participants with a valid drivers’ license, and on a first-come, first-served basis.
