10,000 Degrees Scholarships

SCP’s partnership with 10,000 Degrees provides financial support to students who demonstrate a financial need to complete their education and who will soon be graduating and joining our community’s workforce.

A total of three (3) $5,000 scholarships will be awarded.

To qualify, students must meet the following requirements:

• Must have applied for FAFSA or the CA Dream Act
• Must be an active full-time student (12 units or more).
• Must demonstrate significant financial need.
• Submit application materials by June 30, 2021.
• Must be pursuing a degree in Energy Management and Design, or another related environmental field within the Geography, Environmental, & Planning Department at Sonoma State University.

Students also receive assistance from 10,000 Degrees’ College Success Team, which provides direct help to students virtually and on-campus.
