Students from Santa Rosa Junior College, Sonoma State University, Sonoma County high schools as well as those affiliated with climate groups such as 350 Bay Area will work in small groups with a mentor. They will produce a slide show presentations on specific climate actions. Examples include California State Senate or Assembly legislation, ordinances that were being considered by Sonoma County and the city of Santa Rosa, divestment efforts, and public banking. These slide shows will be available here on this website, but in addition, the students will do live, Zoom presentations on April 29th from 5:30-7:30 PM. We will also have a forum for questions and answers, links to email elected officials, and videos from those officials speaking about their climate actions.
