Senior Risk Officer
Carole Hakstian is the Senior Risk Officer. Carole oversees the Power Services Team compliance filings and provides expertise in risk oversight and regulatory planning.
Ms. Hakstian has 17 years experience in the energy industry most recently serving as a Forecasting and Regulatory Affairs Consultant at Vermont Energy Investment Corporation (VEIC). Her responsibilities included managing regulatory requirements, reviewing legislation, producing quantitative analyses and preparing filings for submission to the Vermont PUC, overseeing savings forecasting and budgeting for the Efficiency Vermont (EVT) Demand Resources Plan and steering the Load Forecasting sub-committee of the Vermont System Planning Committee. Prior to working at VEIC, Ms. Hakstian was an interest rate derivatives trader in the Global Derivatives Products Group at J.P. Morgan Chase.
Carole holds a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and an MBA in Finance and Statistics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
