Managing Director, Customer Service


Erica Togerson serves as Managing Director of Customer Service at Sonoma Clean Power, where she leads the strategy, operations, and continuous improvement of the agency's Customer Service Department, including both the Customer Center and Call Center. She has spent the past decade helping shape Sonoma Clean Power's customer experience, serving seven years as Director of Customer Service before stepping into her current role three years ago.

Erica brings a diverse background in finance, real estate, and customer operations. Born and raised in Sonoma County, Erica brings a deep understanding of the community she serves. Prior to joining Sonoma Clean Power, she spent nine years at First Community Bank (now Poppy Bank), where she managed a portfolio of more than $10 million in bank-owned properties and underwrote millions of dollars in commercial real estate loans. She also worked at North Bay Title Company as an escrow assistant, giving her a strong foundation in real estate transactions, finance, and customer advocacy.

Known for her deep expertise in utility rates and tariffs, solar billing, rate strategy, and California's evolving energy landscape, Erica is a trusted leader in navigating complex customer and regulatory issues. She is passionate about ensuring customers have access to clear information, high quality service, and a team that reflects the diverse communities Sonoma Clean Power serves.

Erica holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Loyola Marymount University and an MBA in Finance with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership and Change Management from Colorado State University Global. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Career Technical Education Foundation of Sonoma County. Her guiding principle is simple: advocate for customers, build strong teams, and always do the right thing.
