Quantitative Analyst
In his role as a Quantitative Analyst, Carter is responsible for modeling the variable renewable resources in Sonoma Clean Power's portfolio and providing data driven decisions for optimal bidding and dispatching behaviors based on market analytics. He also provides modeling and analytical support to other general aspects of SCP’s power procurement.
Carter has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California Davis. Prior to SCP, Carter worked as an Energy Solutions Engineer for Xcel Energy in Minneapolis, MN, where he provided engineering support to demand side management and conservation programs designed to meet energy savings and carbon free goals.
