Sonoma Clean Power offers the Community Charge program to bring more electric vehicle (EV) charging to Sonoma and Mendocino counties. Through this program, eligible organizations can receive up to 4 free EV chargers for workplace, multi-family or public charging, or up to 15 chargers for fleet use.

Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis starting July 1 each year. Participants are responsible for installation costs, internet connectivity, and potential software fees.

Eligibility

The following organizations are eligible to participate if they are a Sonoma Clean Power customer:

Municipal government entities
501(c)(3) non-profit organizations
Owners of commercial properties in low-income communities
Owners of affordable rental housing

Please review the Community Charge Participation Agreement and Terms & Conditions. If approved, SCP will send you a digital version of the participation agreement to sign
Once you accept delivery of your EV chargers, you will work with an electrician to get them installed
Enroll your chargers in GridSavvy Rewards within 4 months and keep them operational and connected for at least five years.
