Chief Operating Officer

Pay Range: $370,000 - $480,000 Annually

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Sonoma Clean Power (SCP) is recruiting a full-time Chief Operating Officer (COO) for an inperson role based in our Santa Rosa office. This is a senior leadership position responsible for the day-to-day management of the majority of SCP's operations. Above all else, we are looking for someone who embraces our mission and is an exceptional people manager. The successful candidate will bring a strong, grounded presence, the desire to bring teams together to collectively deliver on a vision, a genuine interest in developing others, the ability to readily receive and give feedback, the interest in learning and actively helping SCP evolve, and the judgment to make sound decisions under pressure. Energy-sector expertise is valuable, but the role also requires stepping beyond traditional utility norms because community choice agencies only create value when we go beyond what investor-owned utilities do.
