Sonoma Clean Power Joins the Celebrate Community Partnership

Published on 01/09/2020

SCP is the newest member of the Press Democrat’s philanthropic partnership!

Sonoma Clean Power has joined other leading North Bay businesses in the Celebrate Community Partnership.

The Celebrate Community Partnership was formed in 1999 by The Press Democrat and several local business leaders to support non-profit organizations with advertising in The Press Democrat. Additionally, cash donations are given via the Partnership Legacy Fund to several brick and mortar projects each year that benefit the needs of area nonprofits.

Since 1999 the Celebrate Community Partnership has supported numerous nonprofits and donated over $16 million for projects including the SAY Dream Center, Santa Rosa Community Health clinic pharmacy, Boys and Girls Clubs, and Habitat for Humanity.

We welcome Sonoma Clean Power to the Celebrate Community Partnership. They understand the importance of giving back to the communities they serve and supporting our local non-profit organizations, helping thousands of local residents every year.

CEO of The Press Democrat

In addition to Sonoma Clean Power, The Celebrate Community Partnership also includes Friedman’s Home Improvement, Redwood Credit Union, Santa Rosa Junior College, Spring Lake Village, Comcast, Recology, Kaiser, Pure Luxury Transportation and The Press Democrat.

We are dedicated to helping protect our region through working with our customers to solve the climate crisis, which is a perfect fit with the mission and values of the Celebrate Community Partnership. We are glad to join this committed group of business leaders and help build stronger communities alongside them.
