It’s been a busy summer at the Willits Library and if you haven’t been there lately, you might be surprised to find numerous additional programs designed to enhance the visitor experience.
According to head librarian Nicole Bird, libraries across the board have been receiving upgrades, new technology and relevant programs to help them keep up with the current needs of the communities they serve.
In Willits, and other area libraries, Sonoma Clean Power has donated two ‘DIY Toolkits’ that are available for checked-out by library card holders. The kits are filled with energy measuring devices, such as an infrared laser thermometer and a hot water thermometer, that can be used to help measure potential energy and water savings in your home.
