Chief Financial Officer
Garth Salisbury is the Chief Financial Officer at Sonoma Clean Power, bringing over 30 years of combined experience in the utility and public finance sectors. Before joining SCP, Garth served as CFO and Treasurer at Marin Clean Energy (MCE), where he led initiatives that significantly enhanced the organization's financial stability, including improving credit ratings and implementing risk mitigation measures.
Before his tenure at MCE, Garth held senior roles at major financial institutions such as J.P. Morgan Securities, RBC Capital Markets, and BMO Capital Markets. His extensive background in public finance investment banking includes leading over $35 billion in utility financings including financing the start-up and expansion costs of the CAISO and structuring complex financial strategies for public utilities and infrastructure projects. Additionally, he was one of the founders of the California Community Choice Financing Authority (CCCFA), where he currently serves as Treasurer and Controller.
At Sonoma Clean Power, Garth is responsible for overseeing financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies, with a focus on enhancing financial resilience and supporting SCP’s mission to provide clean energy solutions.
