Chief Strategy Officer
Ryan Tracey is the Chief Strategy Officer at Sonoma Clean Power. In his position, Ryan develops strategy for the agency, including overseeing SCP’s integrated resource plan, leading strategic initiatives, and expanding strategic partnerships for the agency. Ryan has worked at SCP since 2019 and worked in roles with SCP’s Procurement and Planning and Analytics departments. Ryan’s accomplishments at SCP include starting the Geothermal Opportunity Zone (GeoZone), establishing hourly emissions targets for SCP’s portfolio planning, and developing a novel approach to statewide transmission planning.
Ryan has worked in the energy industry since 2008. Prior to working at SCP, Ryan worked as an engineer at Chevron where his responsibilities included production operations, economic analysis, reservoir engineering, project management, and data analysis.
Ryan graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
