BayREN Small and Medium Business

Free energy assessments, upgrades at no up-front cost, and 24-hour equipment monitoring to track energy savings and identify potential issues.

Eligibility: Small and medium businesses in BayREN territory, including Sonoma County. Not available in Mendocino County. Other program requirements apply. Learn More.

PG&E Sector-Specific Programs

PG&E offers a range of rebates aimed at specific industries, including K-12 schools, hospitals, grocery, retail, and food service.

Green Business Certification

Climate Action and Resiliency Division staff provides no-cost energy and sustainability technical assistance, including energy and water assessments.

Eligibility: Small and medium sized businesses who choose to become a certified Green Business. Learn more

Industry & Agriculture

Agriculture Energy Savings Action Plan (AESAP)

Cash incentives and zero-interest loans for energy-saving projects involving the installation of new, high-efficiency equipment or systems. For farming, cultivation, winery, brewery or distillery facilities.

Industrial Systems Optimization Program

An industrial energy efficiency program focusing on training, retro-commissioning, and capital projects with systems-level optimization.

Water Infrastructure and System Efficiency (WISE)

Statewide program helping wastewater treatment plants and water pumping agencies in identifying energy efficiency improvements and providing engineering services.

Comfortably CA

Incentives and resources for distributors, manufacturers and retailers for high-efficiency HVAC equipment.

Eligibility: HVAC distributor with an active electric account with SDG&E, SCE, SoCalGas, or PG&E. Other program requirements apply. Learn more

Public Agencies

Public Energy Efficiency Program (GK12)

A program to help public agencies, including local governments, federal agencies and K-12 schools, evaluate and improve their energy efficiency. Program offers deemed, custom, and normalized metered energy consumption (NMEC) incentives.
