In 2021, as the world was struggling through the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting shutdown of public events, Snoopy’s Home Ice arena in Santa Rosa teamed up with the Redwood Empire Ice Theatre Company and sponsor Sonoma Clean Power to present free outdoor skating shows.
The shows were an instant hit, drawing hundreds of enthusiastic spectators, with some of them staying on to see more than one performance. The shows returned in 2022 and 2023 to a warm response from the public.
