Sonoma Clean Power has appointed a veteran of the finance industry as its new chief financial officer.
Garth Salisbury will oversee financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies, with a focus on enhancing financial resilience and supporting Sonoma Clean Power’s clean energy initiatives, according to a Sept. 9 news release.
“Garth’s experience and skill set are an ideal match for our goals at Sonoma Clean Power and we are thrilled to have him on the team,” said SCP CEO Geof Syphers. “His background will allow us to enhance reductions in electric energy costs, further trimming bills for our customers. Additionally, Garth adds important depth to our risk management practices and will strengthen existing relationships with the financial markets, improving our ability to navigate the complex energy business.”
