Claudia Sisomphou is the Communications Specialist for Sonoma Clean Power. Her responsibilities include planning and implementing the agency’s social media efforts, implementing community education and outreach efforts, identifying partnership opportunities with local groups and nonprofits, organizing SCP’s quarterly e-newsletter, developing press releases, website copy, and collateral copy, representing SCP at community, business, and industry events, and assisting with marketing campaigns.
Claudia is a graduate of Sonoma State University and holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Planning with an emphasis in City Planning, as well as a Minor in Computer Science. As a Sonoma County local, Claudia has been actively involved in the community since middle school and received the North Bay Business Journal’s Student Volunteer of the Year Award in 2014. More recently, Claudia was elected to serve on the Lower Russian River Municipal Advisory Council as the representative for the Hacienda District, and is the current President of the United Nations Association Sonoma County Chapter.
