Human Resources Manager
As SCP’s first dedicated HR Manager, Laura is responsible for the full employee lifecycle, benefits administration, policy development, and compliance with California labor laws. She partners closely with leadership to strengthen organizational effectiveness by fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Laura is experienced in high‑pressure environments and takes a strategic, systems‑based approach to improving operational efficiency.
In prior roles, she managed up to 16 direct reports across 10 cost centers and built an HR department from the ground up, leading the growth of a workforce from 40 to 80 employees in under 6 months. Laura holds a Master of Business Administration from Sonoma State University, is SHRM‑CP certified, and is committed to advancing Sonoma Clean Power’s people‑centered practices in support of its clean energy mission.
