Communications & Community Outreach Specialist
Melissa King is the Communications and Community Outreach Specialist at Sonoma Clean Power. In her role, she is responsible for coordinating communications, public relations and media inquiries, social media, copywriting, and organizing SCP’s quarterly e-newsletter. Additionally, Melissa manages community support requests and organizes external outreach events, actively engaging with the community to foster awareness by providing valuable information and resources.
Melissa is a graduate of California State University, Chico and holds a B.A. in Communications and Public Affairs, specializing in Marketing. She brings over a decade of experience to her role, with her most recent focus being the real estate industry. Beyond her professional endeavors, Melissa is a proud lifelong resident of Sonoma County. Her deep connection to the community fuels her commitment to contributing to its growth and development.
