Your path to a free smart thermostat

Here's what to expect, start to finish.

    Complete your application

    Have your PG&E bill handy. You'll need your account number, service address and a few home details. Then sign and submit.

    Watch for your eligibility email

    We'll email you within a few business days to confirm you're approved.

  3. 3

    Schedule your installation

    A partner installer will contact you within 2–5 business days to book a time.

  4. 4

    Enjoy your new thermostat

    Installation takes about 2 hours, including setup and a quick walkthrough.

SCP handles the entire process once you qualify. No cost for the thermostat or installation.
