Curious about sourdough but overwhelmed by all the information in books and online? This hands-on 3-hour workshop breaks sourdough down into a simple, approachable process you can successfully recreate at home. You'll learn the basic science behind fermentation and starter care, along with practical techniques for timing, mixing dough, stretch-and-folds, shaping, scoring, and baking.
Designed for beginner and intermediate levels, this class focuses on understanding the "why" to make the "how" easier—without getting bogged down in complicated details.
Fee: $75 per person (paid to UC Master Food Preservers)
