Project and Application Requirements

Upgrade to a heat pump water heater and get $700 back. Customers enrolled in CARE or FERA energy bill discount programs are eligible to receive 50% of their project cost back (not to exceed $10,000).

Eligibility & Rules

• Program rules, rebates, and eligibility may change at any time.
• When you apply for a rebate, you'll automatically join GridSavvy Rewards and earn money by reducing your energy usage during times of high electricity demand.
• SCP rebates are not to exceed the total project cost when combined with other rebates.
• The installation address must be an SCP account.
• Project must be submitted within 90 days of project completion.
• Customers are eligible for one water heating rebate per account.
• New construction is not eligible, with the exception of fire rebuilds.
• The 50% rebate for CARE, FERA and HEEHRA participants is calculated based on the remaining cost after all other rebates, incentives, or discounts are applied (not including federal tax credits).
• Customers may opt to allocate $25 of their rebate to a Community Partner of their choice. Personal information won't be shared with the Community Partner unless requested. Please note, donations are not tax-deductible.
