Sonoma Clean Power started including a scheduled update to its Geothermal Opportunity Zone (GeoZone) initiative in monthly meetings of the Sonoma Clean Power Community Advisory Committee (CAC) in April 2022. These updates provide an opportunity for SCP to share progress with the public and create a forum for regular public engagement.
The CAC meets the third Thursday each month at 1:00pm and public participation is welcome in-person at SCP’s headquarters or online through Zoom. The meeting schedule and the agendas for upcoming meetings are available here. The public is also welcome to connect with SCP on the GeoZone by e-mailing geozone@sonomacleanpower.org. Information on special events SCP holds specifically for public engagement on the GeoZone are discussed on the GeoZone webpage.
